CallGenie was created as a simple solution to the challenges the Founder, Graham experienced when trying to stay in regular, reliable contact with his mother who suffered with both Dementia and mobility issues (and she happened to be called Jean and she thought the device was magical, hence CallGenie!)
Designed for the Elderly – Works with the existing Television
CallGenie is the only complete, fully automated solution for receiving video calls on an elderly loved one’s existing television – automatically switching to the incoming video call and then switching back to the TV or DVD program they were watching.
Fully automated video calling
CallGenie is standing by 24 hours a day, 7 days a week waiting for loved ones to call. CallGenie automatically turns the TV on if it is off, and switches the TV input to the incoming video call, turns on the camera and sound, and your are able to enjoy chatting and seeing your loved ones. When the call is ended, CallGenie returns the TV to its previous settings.
Safe to use, privacy built in
CallGenie only answers incoming calls from friends and family who are configured into an address book – this can include group calls! The address book can be updated as needed to accommodate your loved ones preferences. CallGenie's privacy features make it safe and secure.
No monthly fees (from us at least!)

Once you place your order you can expect:

- You will let us know when you would like to schedule your installation support session

- We are on the phone or video chatting with you (Video is better for support)
- We dial into the unit remotely while you observe the configuration and testing
- You test with family members or friends
- You send out invitations to family/friends that you or your loved one accepts
